BAL COTTAGE
Providing a delightful rural base for four plus, (2 double bedrooms + folding single bed), Bal Cottage has a spacious upstairs living room with stunning views to the East and West. The two ground floor bedrooms, each with a comfortable 4’6” double bed, hand wash basin and electric radiator, have an adjacent excellent shower and separate toilet in this part of the cottage, which is accessed by stairs down from the living room.
The wide bay window facing west is perfect for viewing an often spectacular sunset and the east facing window affords more views across fields and moorland.
The library area and gallery at one end, overlook the ground floor kitchen/dining room.
Excellent WiFi.

Kitchen/Dining Room
Bal Cottage kitchen
The kitchen space includes a microwave oven, gas cooker with 4-ring hob, main oven, 2nd oven with grill, 4-slot electric toaster, cafetière, teapot, scales and a plentiful supply of tableware.
There is a cosy wood block floor and the solid elm dining table seats up to eight.
WiFi.
We favour recycling of all suitable materials and there are bags for Glass, Paper and Tins, plus bins for compost and non recyclable domestic waste.
The massive original fireplace, with its granite supports and lintel is still in place as a reminder of earlier days. We have reluctantly said goodbye to the solid fuel stove still visible in the photo and while actively researching the best environmentally friendly replacement Bal Cottage is warmed by a selection of oil-filled and convector type electric heaters.

Lounge

The spacious upstairs lounge has picture windows on two sides. The wide bay-window facing west is perfect for viewing the often spectacular sunset.
